We know families often like to personalise the funeral service by choosing a special piece of music. If you wish an organist to play a specific piece of music, simply notify us as soon as possible so that we can inform the crematorium or church organist. In some cases, if the music is a piece that is not well known, you may need to provide sheet music.
There is also an option to play CDs either at the crematorium, in our chapel, or in most churches. In all cases, we must take the CDs to the crematorium at least 24 hours in advance of the service. In cases of church funerals its best to try CDs beforehand to make sure they are compatible. It must be clearly marked which track is to be played.
In the absence of specific requests appropriate music will be played at the organist’s discretion.
